Chalk the Walk | Thu, Sep 3, 9 am-1 pm | from the NEX sidewalk to the FFSC (bldg. 1169)
September is Suicide Awareness and Prevention Month.
Join the Fleet and Family Support Center at Port Hueneme for Chalk the Walk, a creative and supportive community event dedicated to raising awareness for suicide prevention. In recognition of September as Suicide Awareness and Prevention Month, we invite members of our military community to come together to express messages of hope, support, and understanding through art.
All chalk and art supplies will be provided, at no cost. Participants may bring their own supplies if they wish.
This event provides a safe and open space for participants to create chalk art that explores emotions and feelings related to suicide prevention. Your unique artwork will transform the sidewalk from the NEX to the Fleet and Family Support Center into a powerful display of solidarity and hope.
The U.S. Navy is deeply committed to the well-being of its sailors, families, and the entire military community.
