SAPR Color Run | Saturday, April 25 | Beehive Gym
MWR and FFSC are proud to host the annual SAPR Color Run 5k. This event is part of a series of events this month all supporting Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month. The SAPR Color Run is a fun run open to all hands and all ages. Registration for this run is free. Runners can choose to run through the color dye at multiple stations to get color or simply go wide of them to avoid it.
There will also be a one mile fun run for those who don't wish to attempt the 5k distance but would still like to participate. Participants may also choose to walk either the 1-mile or 3-mile distances. Join the fun as an individual and meet new friends or come a group, everyone is welcome to attend. Expect music, games, children’s activities, resource booths and more!
The race start/finish, Check-in, & day-of-registration will all be held right outside the Port Hueneme BeeHive Gym, BLDG 233 (next to the Golf Course). Check-in and day-of registration will open at 9 am. Simply look for the MWR canopies. Start time for both the 5k & 1-mile is 10 am.

5k Run FAQ’s
1) Can I walk? / YES, walkers are welcome.
2) Rain or Shine? / YES, this run will be held rain or shine.
3) Can I bring my kids? / YES, all ages are welcome.
4) Can my kid(s) be in a stroller? / YES, kids in strollers are welcome
5) Can I bring my friend who’s not military? / YES, you may sponsor a guest.
MWR staff are not available to sponsor guests onto the base.
