MWR Spooky Spectacle | Oct 24 | 4 pm

Your NBVC MWR invites you to join us for a family friendly evening of scares and fun as we celebrate Halloween on Friday, October 24 at the BeeHive Gym, NBVC Port Hueneme (bldg. 233)
Come walk the 7,000sqft haunted maze if you dare. Admission to the haunted maze is free for all hands & sponsored guests. For our younger guests and those faint of heart we encourage you to arrive early to enjoy the Trick-or-Treat Trail. From 4 pm – 5:30 pm visitors can experience a less scary version of the haunted maze. Guest can tour the maze with the lights on and no jump scares. Kids are encouraged to bring a trick- or-treat bag to collect candy as you make your way through.
The scares kick into high gear starting at 6:30 pm for those looking for the thrills and chills of a great haunted experience. These no candy, no lights, no escape as the monsters take over the maze for a frighting good time. Look for ghost and gools around every corner and try to survive.
Costume Contest
Sponsored by the Port Hueneme NEX
Kids and adults are encouraged to dress up for the annual costume contest. Hosted by the Hueneme NEX. Our best dressed guests who participate will have a chance to win an NEX gift card. The top 3 participants from each division will walk away with a prize. The divisions include Kids, Teens, & Adults. Winners will receive gift cards valued at $100 for 1st place, $75 for 2nd place and $25 for 3rd place. No entry fee to participate. No sign up needed.
Additional Activities include Face painting, games, photo booth beer garden, undead DJ, vendors & more.
Carnival Games
Attendees must purchase tickets to play games. Tickets are only $1 each. Ticket books are available for purchase each book includes 10 tickets for only $9.00. Sales are cashless, we accept all major cards. If you purchased tickets from pervious MWR events those tickets are valid for use at this event and all future MWR events where tickets are needed.
Volunteer
MWR is looking for help to make this event the best it can be through the help of volunteers like you. If you love Halloween as much as we do then come join us.
