4th of July Celebration | Stingers Park | 5 pm

NBVC MWR is hosting a 4th of July party at Stingers Park, NBVC Port Hueneme and everyone with base access is invited. This family friendly event is free to attend and includes the annual Channel Islands Harbor fireworks show. Stingers Park boasts several picnic tables with BBQ grills. Families who wish to have a spot for their own cookout may bring their own food & supplies. These spots are available on a first come-first served basis.

Additional activities:
MWR is adding to the fun with some s'mores making activities, bounce houses, carnival games, & face painter. Please note that the carnival games and Face painter require tickets. Tickets will be availabel for purchase at the ticket booth, card only.

Food & Beverage:
MWR will be grilling up a storm so bring your appetite and a payment card as MWR is cashless. More details such as the menu & pricing will be announced soon. The MWR mobile Bar will be onsite selling a selection of adult beverages as well as soft drinks and water. Must be 21+ to purchase alcohol with valid ID.

Guests:
All authorized patrons are welcome to sponsor on family & friends as guests. MWR is not responsible for base access.

Chairs, blankets, & umbrellas:
MWR wants you to feel at home during the event so bring your own chairs, blankets, & umbrellas and settle in for a fun family evening celebrating our Nations Independence. Remember to bring a jacket as the evening temps dip after sun down.

Restricted items:
We ask patrons refrain from bringing pets (certified service animals are welcome), weapons, fireworks of any kind, alcohol, canopies, & large Bluetooth speakers. Other restrictions may apply.

Parking is available at Stingers Park and the adjacent lots surrounding the softball fields.

Restrooms are located in the park just past the pavilion for patron convenience.
