Halloween Spooktacular | Oct 30 | Duke’s Place
Your NBVC MWR invites you and your family to join us for a spooky evening of scares and fun as we celebrate Halloween on Friday, October 30 at Duke’s Place, NBVC Port Hueneme (bldg. 1467) Featuring the haunted maze, food trucks, beer garden, a kids and adult costume contest, face painting, jump houses, games, photo booth, music, and more.
Haunted Maze
A series of themed rooms filled with thrills and chills you don’t want to miss. Admission to the maze is free for all guests. All guests will enjoy unlimited entry.
There will be two levels of scare to the maze experience. The first is our Trick-or-Treat hour from 4 pm – 6 pm for our faint of heart and our younger visitors. Starting at 4 pm guest can tour the maze with the lights on and no jump scares. Kids are encouraged to bring a trick or treat bag to collect candy as you make your way through.
The second level brings all the fear and scares to life with the full spooky tours. Lights out, jump scares, sound efx, and strobe lighting will be in full effect. Look for ghost and gools around every corner from 7 pm - 8 pm.
Please note the maze will be closed for a 1hr break from 6 -7 pm
Food Trucks
We have food trucks lined up for you this year thanks to the NEX. MWR may be cashless but the food trucks are not so bring cash or pay by card. No ATM will be onsite.

Carnival Games
Attendees must purchase tickets to play games. Tickets are only $1 each. Ticket books are available for purchase each book includes10 tickets for only $9. Sales are cashless, we accept all major cards. Ticket books don’t expire, if you have tickets from past events they are still good.
